Dedicating armor/weapons/etc. - Guild Wars Forums

I've been starting my Hall of monuments here lately and have my mini rack starting to fill up quite a bit. And I have a few questions.

Dedicating favorite pets/heros or whatever, how does this work exactly?

Dedicating armors, if you dedicate a set do you lose the armor essintially or what?

Dedicating weapons, same do you lose the weapon?

Don't know about pets/heroes/whatever, don't know if I've bothered doing this.

About armor and weapons, you don't lose them, though weapons will be customised once you dedicate them (armor is always customised).

Weapons effectively become customized, only the char that dedicated them and their heroes will be able to use them from that point.

Pets need to be lvl 20 to dedicate. Heroes need to have premium(not default) armor to do so.

Only elite armor can be dedicated. It doesn't effect the armors usability at all, it just adds a monument.

Also, for elite armor to work, you have to have the entire armor set (minus headgear which you don't need, since some armor doesn't have a unique headpiece so even those that do have one, you won't need to put into the HoM).
